THE CHALLENGE
BG Wayne needed a professional online presence that matched his in-ring persona—bold, hard-hitting, and memorable. The site had to serve multiple audiences: fans tracking upcoming events, promoters looking to book talent, and media seeking press materials.
The wrestling industry demands a specific aesthetic—dark, dramatic, high-contrast—while still being functional and easy to navigate. The site needed to showcase championships, upcoming events, and provide a clear path for booking inquiries.
THE SOLUTION
Built a modern Next.js application with a dark, cinematic aesthetic that captures the intensity of professional wrestling. The design uses deep blacks (#050505, #0a0a0a) with gold and crimson accents to create visual drama without sacrificing readability.
Key design decisions included full-screen hero imagery, bold typography (Bebas Neue, Cinzel), and strategic use of negative space to let the content breathe while maintaining that “final boss” energy.
The site is fully responsive, SEO-optimized with Schema.org structured data, and deployed on Vercel for optimal performance and reliability.
